4-Stage Single Button Switch Operation

When the L500 is first turned on, it will default to its first mode, "search mode." To cycle through the other modes, depress the tail switch halfway to cycle the power. If the power is off for more than six seconds, the circuit will reset and default to search mode. The modes cycle as follows:

1. Search mode: Constant 700 lumens.

2. Patrol mode: Constant 100 lumens.

3. Search mode: Constant 700 lumens.

4. Strobe mode: Strobing 700 lumens.
